Some people read The Opportunist and still hated Olivia after the book ended. I don’t have any type of agenda in regards to Leah. Why should they read Dirty Red (book #2) of the series? Are you going to try to make us all like her? Most people despise Leah, I think I could even say that some hate her. It starts shortly after Olivia leaves Caleb in Rome. Will Dirty Red be a continuation of the story, or is it just the rehashing of what we’ve already read?ĭirty Red is a continuation of the story. It was a challenge making you feel for Olivia through all of hers. I usually fall in love with other people’s flaws. When I sat down to start writing, I said to myself, “you can tell a story about another predictable do-gooder, or you can write about what happens when a villain falls in love.” I find my own flaws very interesting. What was the inspiration behind developing a character like Olivia Kaspen?
